Job summary

Newmark is seeking a facilities maintenance supervisor to oversee daily maintenance technicians, ensuring safety and compliance with all policies.

You will coordinate with outside vendors, perform preventative maintenance checks, log repairs, and report incidents while guiding staff toward timely solutions.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in supervisory facilities work, strong communication, and the ability to multitask under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years facilities maintenance supervisory/management experience, preferably in commercial real estate.
• Ability to work well with a variety of individuals both inside and outside of Newmark.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Position requires minimal supervision while adhering to policies and Owner objectives.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily work of maintenance technicians.
• Tour the site daily; report and resolve problems that may risk infrastructure; direct staff.
• Assist contracted vendors with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and modification.
• Operate diagnostic equipment as directed and follow manufacturers' recommendations.
• Determine status of diagnosed equipment and advise corrective actions.
• Maintain records of maintenance checks and repairs.
• Assist in reviewing and reporting incidents.
• Work with facilities staff in providing support.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
