Job summary

Wynn Resorts seeks a Lead Engineer in Las Vegas to oversee daily engineering operations on a major casino property. You will supervise staff, coordinate maintenance tasks, and liaise with other departments to resolve facility issues.

You will respond to emergencies with decisive leadership and provide clear guidance to management. The role requires four years of journeyman experience in building trades on a large resort, with the ability to read drawings, understand codes, and safely operate

Qualifications

Minimum four years of journeyman experience in building trades on a large casino/resort property.
Ability to read and work from project drawings and understand building codes and regulations.
Proficient in safe use of trade tools, PPE, and safety practices.
Must be able to lead, supervise staff and communicate with senior management.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily staff activities and assignments to ensure timely completion.
Liaise with other departments to resolve facility issues and coordinate resources.
Respond immediately to facility emergencies and guide engineering staff to resolution.
Enforce company and department policies; issue discipline or commendations as needed.
Provide daily verbal and written shift and log reports to senior management.
