Job summary

Central Flying Service, LLC. in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking an experienced Aircraft A&P Mechanic to join our maintenance team focused on flight school operations. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Tecnam and Cessna aircraft to ensure FAA compliance and safety.

You will lead inspection duties, mentor junior technicians, maintain records, and collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe & Power Plant certificate is required.
• Current IA certificate preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years maintaining General Aviation aircraft required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft (airframe, engines, components) per FAA regulations and manufacturer specs.
• Conduct Inspections as IA and approve major repairs, alterations, and annuals.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and avionics issues with diagnostic tools.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and FAA paperwork.
• Lead/assist in disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of systems; mentor junior mechanics.
