Qualifications

• Three years of leadership experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Knowledge of proper food handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Food safety training and certification as described by law.
• Experience with computer systems (POS, reservations).

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team including hiring, development, scheduling and training.
• Ensure high-level service and a memorable dining experience for guests.
• Handle daily cash deposits and security for cash, liquor, and entry points.
• Open or close the restaurant and manage work areas.
• Assist kitchen with prep or plating and ensure quality and garnishes.
• Maintain front-of-house cleanliness and appearance.
• Assign service-related tasks to servers.
• Check out servers and bartenders at shift end.
• Bus tables and assist with dishes as needed.
• Prepare dining tables for service and ensure readiness.
• Communicate current menu choices, specials and deviations to staff.
• Pour wine tableside when required.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and address service needs.
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions to management.
• Ensure uniforms and grooming standards are followed.
• Develop positive relationships with colleagues and guests.
