Job summary

Tandem Hospitality Group LLC is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager at the Longmont Hotel in Longmont, CO. This full-time role reports to the Director of Food & Beverage, with a salary range of $60,000 - $68,000 DOE.

The position requires 3 years of leadership in F&B, strong guest service skills, and experience with POS systems and reservations software. Responsibilities include staff oversight, service excellence, cash handling, and ensuring clean, well-appointed dining spaces.

Qualifications

• Three years of leadership experience in F&B preferred.
• Knowledge of proper food handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Flexible availability incl. holidays.
• Food safety training and certification per law.
• Experience with computers and reservations software.
• Familiarity with basic cooking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of employees including hiring, development, scheduling and training.
• Ensure high-level service and guest experiences.
• Handle daily cash deposits.
• Open or close the restaurant and secure cash and entry points.
• Assist kitchen with prep work or plating as needed.
• Ensure front of house areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Assign tasks to servers and check them out at shift end.
• Bus tables and assist with dirty dishes.
• Prepare dining tables for service.
• Communicate menu changes to staff.
• Open and pour wine at tableside.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and address needs.
• Report accidents or unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain neat uniforms and grooming standards.
• Develop positive working relationships.
