Job summary

PPC INDUSTRIES INC in Sandy, Utah seeks a Principal Process Development Engineer (PPDE) and SME for extrusion to elevate our medical device manufacturing capabilities across sites.

You will define CPPs, lead DOE studies, mentor engineers, and drive technology transfer while collaborating with Product Development, Operations, Quality, and Application Development to ensure scalable, compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in micro-extrusion, multi-lumen, and co-extrusion processes.
• Experience leading design of experimentation and validation for medical devices.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485).

Responsibilities

• Serve as enterprise-wide SME on extrusion processes across sites.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for extrusion issues.
• Develop standardized process development methodologies and CPPs.
• Drive technology transfer from development to production.
• mentor engineers and technicians in extrusion science.
