Job summary

ICU Medical is seeking an experienced Extrusion Maintenance Specialist to ensure reliable operation of extrusion lines, perform preventive and corrective activities, and support process improvements in a medical device manufacturing setting.

The role requires deep knowledge of extrusion machinery, tooling, and quality systems, with hands-on involvement in SPC data, documentation, and cross-functional teamwork to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of extrusion manufacturing experience.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing and regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485, GMP) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Extensive experience with extrusion machinery, downstream equipment, and peripheral systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machines and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate sample inspections with Quality Assurance at startups.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with production to meet daily plans.
• Participate in scrap reduction projects and drive process improvements.
