Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology is recruiting an Associate Director, Clinical Science & External Research in Irvine, CA. Lead external research projects, ensure SOP/GCP compliance, and drive publication plans in collaboration with Clinical Research and Biostatistics teams.

You will mentor CSER staff, manage budgets, and liaise with diverse cross-functional teams to advance cardio-electrophysiology programs and evidence generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Life Science or related field.
• PhD/MD/PharmD with 8–10 years of research experience preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in clinical research or publication planning.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end management of external research projects in CSER.
• Oversees clinical trial procedures and sponsor management.
• Develops and executes publication plans with cross-functional teams.
• Mentors CSER staff and manages project budgets.
