Job summary

RL James seeks an experienced Restoration Project Manager to lead complex exterior restoration and building envelope projects across the East Coast. You will own projects from pre-construction handoff through final closeout, coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver high-quality work.

Based in DeLand with a home office, this full-time role requires regular travel to project sites across Florida’s east-central coast.

Qualifications

• Experience leading exterior restoration projects on existing structures.
• Hands-on knowledge of access systems (swing stage, mast climber) and envelope work.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pre-construction turnover through closeout, managing budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate work on occupied buildings with staging, access systems, and client liaison.
• Review subcontractor work, change orders, and cost controls; ensure safety and quality.
• Develop detailed project schedules and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
