Job summary

Nelson Exteriors in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee exterior renovation projects from pre-construction to final walkthrough. You will coordinate siding, roofing, painting, decks, windows, and gutters across multiple active jobs, manage crews and subcontractors, and maintain clear communication with homeowners.

The role rewards proactive problem-solving, strict budgeting, and high quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on exterior renovation experience.
• Knowledge of paint, siding, roofing, decking, trim and related materials.
• Excellent communication and leadership to manage homeowners and crews.
• Clean driving record and ability to work with safety standards.
• Experience with project management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of each assigned project from material ordering to final walkthrough and payment collection.
• Oversee daily on-site progress of multiple projects across Metro Atlanta.
• Coordinate crews and subcontractors to meet Nelson Exteriors’ quality standards.
• Communicate with homeowners, set expectations, provide regular updates.
• Track costs and manage change orders to keep projects on budget.
• Enforce safe construction practices on every job site.
• Handle payroll tracking and project‑related documentation.
• Manage project records and updates in our project management software.
• Resolve on-site issues quickly and decisively.
