Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Engineering Export Compliance Officer in a lead role to guide export controls, classify technologies for compliant exports, and minimize regulatory risk across the enterprise.

You will partner with engineering, supply chain, and legal teams, report to the Jurisdiction and Classification Team leader, and implement processes to ensure accurate determinations and efficient global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Engineering/technical expertise required.
• Knowledge of export regulations (ITAR, EAR).
• Experience in export classification determinations.
• Strong communication skills across functions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of export classification policies and training.
• Provide guidance on complex export compliance matters primarily on classification issues.
• Advise management on export compliance risks and mitigation.
• Lead investigations and define corrective actions for violations when needed.
• Assess classification accuracy and program adherence to ensure health of program.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
