Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking an Engineering Export Compliance Officer to lead export classification efforts and provide compliance guidance across business units. The role reports to the Jurisdiction and Classification Team leader and operates on a hybrid schedule from a Honeywell site.

You will work with engineering and supply chain teams to classify products for compliant US and non-US transactions, influence policy development, and administer key elements of the J&C Program.

Qualifications

• Engineering/technical background with export compliance experience.
• Knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Experience performing export classification determinations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ethical conduct and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of export classification policies and tools.
• Provide guidance to business units on complex export compliance matters.
• Advise management on export compliance risks and mitigation strategies.
• Lead internal investigations and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assess classification accuracy and adherence to program policies.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliant operations.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and government agencies.
