Job summary

Freedom Design + Build, Inc. is seeking an Executive Designer to guide clients through a collaborative design process, from concept to construction, including material selections, drawings, and permits.

You will work across marketing, sales, and production to ensure design intent is realized. The role requires strong proficiency in Chief Architect Premier, 1–3 years of experience, and the ability to travel to VA, DC, and MD areas as needed while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team in a

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating interior design and remodeling experience.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• Experience with Chief Architect preferred.
• 1–3 years experience preferred.
• Willing to travel to VA, DC, MD areas.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through the design process from concept to construction.
• Conduct detailed site verification with clients to establish goals.
• Meet weekly to review design and material selections.
• Research, source, and quote materials and finishes.
• Prepare construction and permit drawings, including MEP and elevations.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales and production teams.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors on design details and specs.
