Qualifications

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment in construction or utility settings.
• Comfort with E-35 Excavator operation on various sites.
• Experience in trenchless water, sewer, or gas line work.
• Proven ability to handle residential and commercial excavation projects.
• Capable of safely loading, unloading, and transporting heavy gear.
• Solid knowledge of excavation safety and OSHA regulations.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing weather.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

This role is responsible for operating heavy equipment—including backhoes and mini excavators—to perform residential and commercial sewer and water line repairs and replacements. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment, including backhoes and mini excavators, on residential and commercial job sites.
• Perform excavation work for sewer and water service repairs and replacements.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and Apex Plumbing Pros safety policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with excavation crews to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Load, unload, transport, and properly secure equipment on trailers according to company guidelines.
• Inspect, maintain, and perform routine care of excavation equipment.
• Work safely in confined spaces and open trench environments.

Requirements
