Job summary

St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to lead a staff of 25 or more during the evening shift. This full-time role emphasizes strong supervisory skills, leadership, and equitable treatment of all employees.

You will oversee sanitation in patient and public areas, ensure compliance with Joint Commission and infection control standards, coordinate linen and uniform services, and support campus safety and quality initiatives across departments.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-year Housekeeping experience in hospital setting.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission requirements, preferred.
• Familiarity with chemical sanitizers and general housekeeping functions.
