Job summary

StudyFetch is seeking a senior researcher to design and lead evidence studies for its AI-native education platform. You will craft measurement instruments, lead external validation, and build a benchmarking process for independent review, while coordinating with founders and academic partners.

You will operate in a founding-team capacity, owning study design directions, IRB considerations, and publication efforts, ensuring rigorous, externally defensible results across K-12, higher-ed, and

Qualifications

• PhD in Learning Sciences or related quantitative field with 7+ years applying it to real research programs.
• Experience designing and evaluating educational or workforce training evidence with external scrutiny.
• Ability to present to engineers, founders, and external academic partners.

Responsibilities

• Define the evidence strategy and decide which claims to prove and which standards to apply (ESSA/WWC-aligned or equivalent).
• Design outcome measures and study designs (experimental/quasi-experimental) to demonstrate effectiveness.
• Build a defensible benchmark with rubrics, codebooks, and interrater reliability for external release.
• Recruit and manage independent advisory panels and methods reviewers; lead peer-review and publication efforts.
