Job summary

Club Demonstration Services in Oxnard, CA seeks a Full Time Event Manager - Product Demonstration to recruit, hire and supervise in-store product demonstrators, oversee preparation and presentation, and coordinate training and superb service for Club members. The role requires strong communication with warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators, plus participation in grand openings.

The core duties include staff development, event execution, and upholding food safety standards while ensuring

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in retail, hospitality or food environments.
• Detail oriented with leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead high performing teams.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement.
• Able to coach and counsel employees, take corrective action as needed.
• Flexibility to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and hire part-time staff.
• Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation.
• Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and excellent customer services.
• Communicate between multiple managers, vendors and demonstrators.
• Participate in new location grand openings as required.
