Qualifications

• Operational leadership in events and hospitality settings.
• Strong budgeting, P&L, labor and forecasting experience.
• Excellent negotiation and client-facing skills.

• Ability to recruit, train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Consults clients on scope, budget, menus, collateral and entertainment to fit within their budget.
• Plans menus with clients and chefs.
• Negotiates vendor contracts.
• Coordinates with Sales Catering Managers, Supervising Chefs, staff, and vendors to execute events.
• Recruits, interviews, selects, and trains staff for events.
• Organizes, leads and motivates the catering team.
• Plans staff and event schedules.
• Maintains financial and administrative records.
• Acts as liaison between clients and suppliers to plan events.
• Assesses contract requirements and ensures service delivery meets standards.
• Reviews catering events for performance and quality.
• Addresses customer concerns and ensures timely payment.
