Fooda in Memphis is seeking a full-time Lead Event Coordinator to support on-site events across Fooda's partner restaurants. You will oversee setup, teardown, and ensure quality customer experiences.

The role involves learning Fooda's tech platform, coordinating with restaurants, resolving issues, and providing real-time service. Prior hospitality or events background preferred; driving locally is expected; standard hours are 9-5 with potential longer shifts.

Fooda operates in over 20 major US cities and continues its expansion across the United States. Fooda is currently recruiting for a full time Lead Event Coordinator in our Memphis market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Program will include lunch and dinner services Monday - Friday, typically (9am - 5pm) but responsibilities may span 9am-8pm, depending on the market and need

• You are a strong communicator and self-starter
• You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
• You're someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You're looking for a steady full-time job (between 35-40 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
