Job summary

Oshkosh Defense is seeking a Senior Calibration Engineer to drive calibration development for xEV powertrain and vehicle motion controls. You will lead cross-functional teams across propulsion, braking, steering, ADAS, and software to ensure robust, production-ready calibrations for Oshkosh delivery vehicles.

You will define calibration requirements, strategy, and performance targets, and spearhead prototype builds, testing, and production launches while collaborating with Systems Engineering,

Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years experience developing embedded automotive software and calibrations.
• Experience calibrating production electric or hybrid powertrains.
• Strong understanding of propulsion, dynamics, brakes, and vehicle motion controls.
• Experience using calibration tools: ETAS INCA, Vector CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe or equivalents.
• Experience collecting and analyzing large vehicle data sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, integration, validation, and production release of propulsion and chassis calibrations.
• Define calibration requirements, acceptance criteria, and performance metrics.
• Lead vehicle attribute development including drivability and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate calibration activities across systems and suppliers.
• Develop calibration documentation and release plans throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD processes for calibration and software releases.
