Job summary

Main Street Auto is seeking a highly skilled Lead Automotive Technician to join our Longwood, FL shop. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics, repairs, and mentoring a team, especially on European vehicles, ensuring top repair quality.

You will lead diagnostics, collaborate with service advisors for estimates, and maintain high standards in line with manufacturer specs while staying current with new procedures. A strong leader and hands-on expert will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience (European vehicle experience strongly preferred ).
• ASE Master Certification or equivalent manufacturer training (preferred but not required).
• Deep understanding of European diagnostic systems, tools, and repair procedures.
• Proven leadership or foreman-level experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must own professional-grade tools suitable for European vehicle repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of European makes and models.
• Lead and mentor a team of technicians; provide training and support as needed.
• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate repair estimates and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high-quality repair standards in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Stay up to date with the latest technical information and repair procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
