Job summary

Main Street Auto in Florida seeks a Lead Automotive Technician to provide expert diagnostics and repairs while mentoring a team of technicians. You will oversee repair scheduling, collaborate on estimates, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will stay updated on automotive technology, maintain records in the shop management system, and deliver excellent customer service. The role runs 8–5, with Saturday 8–12, and requires a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Extensive automotive technician experience with focus on diagnostics and repairs.
• Proven leadership to guide a team of technicians.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and engine systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment, tools and software.
• Experience with alignments and tires.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on vehicles across electrical, mechanical and engine systems.
• Lead and mentor technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.
• Oversee scheduling and assignment of repair jobs for optimal resource use.
• Collaborate with service advisor to prepare accurate repair estimates.
