Job summary

Main Street Auto in Longwood, FL is seeking a highly skilled Lead Automotive Technician. You will act as the go-to expert for complex diagnostics on European vehicles, mentor junior technicians, and ensure repairs meet high standards of quality and efficiency.

You will lead a team, collaborate with service advisors, and stay current with the latest procedures. A valid driver's license and owned professional tools are required, ASE training is preferred, and a competitive compensation package is

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience (European vehicle experience strongly preferred).
• ASE Master Certification or equivalent manufacturer training (preferred).
• Deep understanding of European diagnostic systems, tools, and repair procedures.
• Proven leadership or foreman-level experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; owns professional-grade tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on European makes and models.
• Lead and mentor a team of technicians; provide training and support as needed.
• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate repair estimates and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high-quality repair standards in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Stay up to date with the latest technical information and repair procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
