Job summary

Metric Geo in the United States seeks a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimating and project management for large-scale heavy underground water resources and mechanical construction projects. From feasibility through construction, you will shape scope, drive bid strategy, and coordinate with clients and contractors to bring critical infrastructure projects to life.

You will own detailed estimates, manage take-offs, review bid documents, build PM plans, and drive proposals to signed contracts

Qualifications

Experience in heavy construction estimating and project management.
Underground utilities experience (gas, water, sanitary, steam or mechanical piping).
Proven ability to review drawings, specs and bid documents.

Responsibilities

Develop accurate, detailed cost estimates on large, complex heavy construction projects.
Prepare and analyze material and quantity take-offs.
Review bid documents, drawings, specifications, and commercial terms.
Build and maintain full Project Management Plans — scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and change control.
Prepare bid proposals and scopes of work, and drive them through to signed contracts.
Partner closely with clients, contractors, and third-party providers throughout project development.
