Job summary

Airtron is seeking an Estimation Manager in Dallas to lead the residential new construction estimating function, including plan takeoffs, bid preparation, and pricing accuracy. You will coordinate with sales, operations, purchasing, and leadership to ensure on-time quotes and high-quality estimates.

You will coach the estimations team, establish standards, and monitor workload and performance while driving process improvements across the department to support company goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating, design, project coordination, or related construction/HVAC experience.
• 3+ years’ experience leading, training, or coordinating productive teams.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with ERP or related software.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and processes.
• Proficient English communication.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimations team in Dallas for residential new construction bids.
• Coach and train team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Establish estimating standards, workflows, and quality control processes.
• Review estimates, drawings, specifications, labor and material inputs for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, purchasing, and leadership to clarify scope and support timely quotes.
• Provide regular performance updates to senior management regarding estimating volume, turnaround time, accuracy, backlog, and process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure estimate files, bid documentation, assumptions, revisions, and supporting materials are complete and organized.
• Continually search for opportunities to improve estimating accuracy, turnaround time, documentation quality, and overall department effectiveness.
