Job summary

SAK Builders, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to lead the estimation and management of specialty project scopes. This role combines bid development, subcontractor coordination, and buyout activities to secure profitable scope execution.

You will establish budgets, negotiate subcontracts, and ensure timely buyouts while maintaining safety and quality. 5–8 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering, construction management, or architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Field construction management and estimating experience (5-8 years, including supervisory skills).
• Shotcrete and/or cast in place experience (3-5 years).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and urgency sense.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and estimator duties for designated specialty scope.
• Maintain bidding schedules and client relationships.
• Estimate and buyout specialty scope, manage subcontractor bids.
• Develop safety plans with the superintendent.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance.
• Manage project scope budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate preconstruction services and close-out procedures.
• Lead meetings with management and subcontractors.
