Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction is seeking a Project Manager to support a private client book with planning, technical solutions, safety, and operational excellence. They will serve as the lead estimator and project manager on regional projects and support the Area Manager or Operations Manager.

The role requires travel up to 75% and, when not traveling, base at the Bradenton, Florida office, a beautiful place to work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates specifications to plan procedures, staffing, and submittal requirements.
• Directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors to coordinate construction phases and prevent delays.
• Investigates problems and recommends solutions; maintains a project risk register.
• Prepares, negotiates, and approves invoicing per contract; manages change orders.
• Oversees safety, schedule, and costs; ensures workmanship conforms to specs.
