Job summary

WW Clyde is hiring an Estimator/Project Manager for Dry Wells and Concrete in Arizona. You will prepare proposal estimates, manage all construction phases to meet schedule and budget, and seek new opportunities. The role emphasizes safety, cost control, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include takeoffs, cost development, design option reviews, and coordination with various teams. Candidates should have a civil engineering or construction mgmt degree and 3+ years in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience estimating and/or project management in the construction industry.
• Minimum 3-5 years heavy civil project management experience with focus on Dry Wells and Concrete.
• Knowledge of construction design, methods and finance.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills; good organizational skills.
• Familiarity with software: HCSS Heavy Bid, Trimble Business Center, BlueBeam, Excel, Outlook, Primavera P6, Building Connected, Viewpoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposal estimates for heavy civil construction including dirt work, underground utilities, and concrete.
• Review specifications and drawings to determine scope and contents of the estimate.
• Prepare estimates by complete takeoffs of scope of work.
• Develop accurate estimated costs to complete the scope.
• Maintain estimating cost data base and keep costs up to date.
• Review design options and recommend best solutions based on cost and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Support other department personnel as required.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Manage field operations for heavy civil work safely and per project specs.
