Job summary

Polk Mechanical Company LLC seeks a Chief Estimator to lead estimating operations, ensuring accurate bids and strong client relationships. The role oversees estimating processes, team performance, and bid strategy execution for our Pre-Construction department.

The Chief Estimator will identify and pursue bid opportunities, monitor metrics, and support contract negotiations while leading and developing the estimating team to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of estimating experience in mechanical construction.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking.
• Expertise in estimating systems and construction contracts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze market conditions and trends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bid strategy, estimating processes, and department performance.
• Review and approve major project estimates.
• Lead project turnover to operations teams.
