Job summary

CT Industrial Services (CTIS) seeks an experienced Chief Estimator to lead estimating and preconstruction for environmental and industrial projects at Lake Ariel, PA, with hybrid/remote options. You will drive accurate, competitive estimates and help CTIS evaluate risk and pursue profitable work.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with operations and leadership, and expertise in estimating processes, bid strategy, and vendor pricing. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of labor, equipment, materials, subcontractor costs, trucking, and waste disposal pricing.
• Experience using B2W Estimate or equivalent estimating platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of estimates for environmental, industrial, and remediation projects.
• Review bid documents, plans, specs, reports, and scopes of work.
• Prepare detailed estimates including labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, transport, disposal, and production rates.
• Develop project schedules, staffing plans, equipment lists, and production-rate estimates.
• Solicit, review, and level pricing from subcontractors, vendors, and disposal facilities.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead internal estimate reviews and support bid/no-bid decisions.
