PCL Construction Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a highly motivated Lead Estimator to support a national data center business unit.

Backed by 119 years of history, this role will lead medium-to-large estimates, review contract documents, and collaborate with internal teams to build accurate cost proposals. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or diploma, 8 years of estimating experience in construction, and experience leading pursuits up to $150 million.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience.
• 8 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating.
• Experience leading pursuits valued up to $150 million.
• Knowledge of bid preparation and estimation processes.

Responsibilities

• Leads medium-to-large estimates or components of large estimates and is accountable for that specific scope of work.
• Conducts detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine and validate overall project requirements.
• Ensures the completion of full quantity take-offs of all labor, equipment, and materials from project documents.
• Leads the development of conceptual estimate proposals for construction management and design-build pursuits.
• Supports the estimate lead by populating tender forms, RFIs, and pursuit scheduling.
• Coordinates with internal departments and external stakeholders to create site logistics and budget requirements.
