Job summary

gpac is partnering with premier Commercial Drywall Contractors in the Boston area to recruit a seasoned Chief Estimator. You will lead a skilled estimating team, drive bid strategies, and oversee takeoffs and competitive proposals across diverse projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the Chief Estimator role for commercial drywall, a strong leadership record, and proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff/QuickBid and Plexxis (or equivalent). Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Chief Estimator in commercial drywall construction.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff/QuickBid and Plexxis or equivalent software.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a motivated team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team on commercial drywall projects from bid to award.
• Prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates, and bid packages.
• Collaborate with project management and preconstruction to pursue opportunities.
