Qualifications

• 5–12+ years of commercial drywall estimating experience.
• Experience in the local Connecticut/Hartford market preferred.
• Mastery of On-Center OST and Quick Bid required.
• Open-shop experience preferred; union backgrounds welcome.
• Career longevity and reliability are valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive bids for projects from small renovations to large packages.
• Perform detailed digital takeoffs for metal stud framing, drywall, sheathing, and vapor barriers.
• Support Project Managers on bulletins, addenda and change orders to ensure financial precision.
• Attend scope reviews and pursue work, selling the firm’s capabilities to GCs.
• Use OST and Quick Bid to produce high-level cost analyses.
