Job summary

gpac is seeking a Commercial Drywall Estimator with 5 years of experience for commercial projects in the United States. You will accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs, prepare bids from drawings and specs, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely, profitable outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a relevant bachelor's degree and proficiency with Onscreen Takeoff, QuickBid, Bluebeam, or Planswift, plus strong negotiation and organizational skills for managing multiple bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial drywall estimation.
• Experience with estimating software and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for drywall projects.
• Prepare comprehensive bids from project specs and drawings.
• Analyze requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with vendors and subs to secure pricing and terms.
• Coordinate with PMs, architects, and stakeholders on estimates.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain documentation of estimates, bids, and contracts.
• Stay updated on industry trends and estimating methods.
