Job summary

Highland Roofing Company in North Carolina is seeking a seasoned commercial roofing estimator to support our Charlotte, Raleigh, or Wilmington offices. You will create accurate estimates for new construction, replacements, and coatings, reading blueprints to determine the best installation approach and maintaining templates in The Edge software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience (or strong roofing superintendent/project management background).
• Solid knowledge of commercial roofing systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and juggle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate estimates and proposal letters for commercial roofing projects (new construction, replacements, coatings/restorations).
• Read blueprints and specs to plan the best installation approach.
• Use The Edge estimating software to build and maintain templates.
• Document all quotes and sales in our company's software.
• Collaborate with the team to meet productivity and profitability goals.
• Help improve workflows and processes with the executive team.
