Job summary

The Haskell Company in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a seasoned Estimating Manager to lead its estimating team. You will verify and develop accurate construction cost estimates, and help establish preconstruction standards and processes to improve bid quality and profitability.

You will work with designers, clients, and operations to develop budgets, review bids, and lead risk analysis. Travel up to 10% is required; a BS in Engineering or Construction Management with 5–8 years of estimating

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of estimating experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages Estimating personnel.
• Develops detailed cost estimates and reviews other Team Member's estimates.
• Develops, maintains Preconstruction standards, processes and bid packages.
• Leads bid leveling analysis and reviews bidders.
• Develops project construction budgets and procurement.
• Collaborates with Preconstruction Leadership, designers and clients.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
