Job summary

Highland Roofing Company Inc. is seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimating Manager to lead and develop our estimating team, driving consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial roofing estimating (or 8+ years in commercial construction estimating) with leadership experience, strong communication and problem‑solving skills, and proficiency with EDGE estimating software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience OR 8+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating principles.
• Experience with construction estimating software.
• Proven ability to coach and develop employees.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop estimators across multiple locations.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, training, and performance coaching.
• Manage bid schedules, workload distribution, and estimating workflow.
• Improve estimating processes, standards, and best practices.
• Lead bid reviews and strengthen risk management practices.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed on time.
• Partner with sales, operations, and senior leadership to support company growth.
• Travel regularly to Highland Roofing locations to build relationships and support team development.
