Job summary

Elements Massage is seeking an experienced Lead Esthetician to provide facial services at our Sunnyvale studio while traveling to Campbell and San Mateo for training and mentoring.

You will lead, train, and support the esthetics team across three locations, maintain consistent service standards, grow retail skincare sales, and guide the rollout of new treatments. This role combines hands-on client care with coaching responsibilities in a positive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an Esthetician/Aesthetician educational program.
• Current California Esthetician License with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience training, mentoring, or leading other estheticians is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of facial treatments, skincare products, and professional skincare techniques.

• Provide exceptional, customized facial and skincare services at our Sunnyvale studio.
• Train, mentor, and support estheticians across all three studio locations.
• Assist with onboarding and hands-on training of new estheticians.
• Help maintain consistency in facial treatment protocols, service quality, and client experiences.
• Support the introduction and successful rollout of new skincare treatments and services.
• Share skincare knowledge, techniques, and best practices to help estheticians develop their skills and confidence.

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and sales-oriented Lead Esthetician to join our growing team and support our three Bay Area studios in Sunnyvale, Campbell, and San Mateo.
This exciting opportunity combines hands-on facial services at our Sunnyvale studio with training, mentoring, and supporting estheticians across all three locations.
The ideal candidate is a skilled skincare professional with strong retail sales abilities, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire others to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Position Summary

As our Lead Esthetician, you will have dedicated scheduled days providing facial services at our Sunnyvale studio, while traveling to our Campbell and San Mateo locations for training and mentoring as needed.
You will play an important role in developing our esthetics team, maintaining consistent service standards, strengthening retail sales skills, and supporting the successful introduction of new skincare services and treatments.

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive compensation with separate pay rates for facial services and sit-time.
  • $20-$25+ per facial (before tips).
  • $40-$60+ potential earnings per facial, including tips.
  • Paid sit-time at a separate hourly rate.

Qualifications And Skills

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Client service-oriented with a passion for creating exceptional experiences.
• High standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with studio management and coworkers.
• Passion for skincare and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Sunnyvale, Campbell, and San Mateo studios as needed.
