Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an ESS Installation Technician in Charleston, SC, to lead a small crew installing and testing DoD ESS and audiovisual systems at NAVWAR facilities. The role requires reading complex drawings, coordinating daily tasks, and reporting progress with MS Office tools.

The candidate must hold an active Secret clearance, be a US citizen, and be willing to travel as needed. Physical work includes lifting and ladder climbing in secure environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Active Secret Security Clearance and US citizenship.
• Ability to read and redline technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, and redline technical drawings.
• Plan and lead daily/weekly work for up to 3 employees.
• Provide daily status reports using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Install, terminate, and test low‑voltage wiring, CAT6, fiber, and other cables.
• Install cable trays, conduits, and equipment per standards.
