Job summary

Metromont LLC is seeking an Erection Foreman in Winchester, VA, to supervise a crew on concrete erection projects. You will read plans, coordinate timelines, and lead field operations across precast installations with PCI tolerances.

The role requires overseeing up to 10 workers, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring work progresses per schedule. Candidates must have crane chart literacy, grade level & transit knowledge, and OSHA 30 training, with a commitment to safety and quality.”

Qualifications

• Must be able to read crane charts and use grade level & transit instruments.
• Experience supervising a crew of laborers and coordinating field tasks.
• Must be able to read plans, material lists, and guidelines with adherence to timelines.
• Must have knowledge of precast products and be able to erect precast units within PCI tolerances.
• Must have 30 hours OSHA training and comply with Metromont safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a crew of up to 10 employees.
• Reads and follows plans, material lists, and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
• Conducts regular and tailgate safety meetings.
• Must be able to read crane charts.
• Must have working knowledge of grade level & transit instruments and calculating elevations.
• Must be qualified to operate aerial lifts, and skid-loaders.
• Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Organizes, supervises, leads, and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
• Enforces all company safety policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
• Submits crew members' timesheets to payroll by deadline.
• Attends branch operation meetings as required.
• Must adhere to all Metromont and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
