Job summary

Kiewit Corporation is seeking a Lead level construction supervisor to plan and coordinate crews, equipment, and materials on a multi-discipline project. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence on site, mentoring leadmen and crews to execute complex tasks efficiently.

You will develop work plans, monitor progress, and ensure accurate reporting, timekeeping, and daily management reporting while maintaining the company’s standards for safety and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience.
• Ability to supervise craft workers under supervision.
• Task planning and teaching safety practices.
• Knowledge of scheduling, material control and job cost management.
• Understand, follow and communicate instructions effectively.
• Must be a good communicator, motivator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials for safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity, time sheets and daily management reports.
• Assist in developing a weekly schedule and carry out sequence of activities for crew.
• Complete work on time within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Uphold safety by conducting toolbox meetings and communicating safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules.
• Monitor compliance with company policies by all supervised employees.
