Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to direct crew members' daily activities and production per project timeline, plans, specs and standards. The role involves coordinating resources and enforcing safety procedures on site.

You will train teams on safety practices, monitor performance, and ensure timely, quality workmanship while upholding company safety policies and project requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge to perform essential craft functions.
• Plan tasks to safely carry out work and train safety practices.
• Understanding of scheduling, material control, and cost management.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions and communicate with crew.
• Strong communicator, motivator, and team player.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote the safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
• Assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequence of activities for the crew.
• Ensure timely completion of work within estimated costs while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Develop and maintain a safe crew attitude by conducting toolbox meetings and communicating safety plans to leadmen and crews.
• Monitor compliance by all employees with company policies.
