Job summary

Synagro is seeking a lead for its operations team to manage assigned projects and oversee inspection, maintenance, and operation of dredging and dewatering equipment. The role requires mentoring staff, ensuring DOT and company safety standards, and delivering materials to destinations.

Travel between sites, willingness to work varied shifts, and ability to operate heavy equipment with basic repairs are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in making minor repairs and adjustments to operating equipment.
• Experience in computer operation and electronic controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor others.
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in interactions with clients and the public.
• Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the truck/equipment.
• Comply with all DOT, state, local and in-house regulations, procedures, and rules.
• Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned/approved destination.
• Travel from job site to job site or plant to job site, may involve overnight travel.
• Perform shop cleanup, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup.
• Maintain operation records and enforce and maintain standard safety procedures.
