Actalent in Detroit, MI is seeking a Lead EPMS Engineer to serve as the technical lead for EPMS and SCADA integration on modular data center skid systems. You will program, configure, and troubleshoot Ignition SCADA and EPMS, ensuring reliable communication between field devices and monitoring platforms.
The role involves factory and site testing, FAT/SAT, commissioning, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with electricians and controls technicians, delivering accurate turnover
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in controls engineering, EPMS, or SCADA environments.
- Hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting Ignition SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with data center electrical infrastructure and mission-critical power systems.
- Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
Responsabilités
- Serve as the technical lead for EPMS and SCADA integration for modular data center skid systems.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot Ignition SCADA and EPMS systems.
- Interface with switchgear, UPS and skid-mounted equipment to integrate into EPMS/SCADA.
- Verify communication protocols and data integrity between field devices and SCADA systems.
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and turnover documentation.
