Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking an EPMS Project Engineer to support mission-critical data center projects across the United States. You will lead EPMS design, integration and commissioning, working closely with electrical, controls and client teams.

The role covers architecture development, protocol integration (Modbus, BACnet, OPC UA, IEC 61850), SCADA/HMI graphics, FAT/SAT, and full lifecycle engineering with a strong emphasis on reliability and client delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EPMS / Electrical Controls experience.
• Data center or other mission-critical experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution and monitoring.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI or EPMS platforms.
• Comfortable working across design, integration and commissioning.
• Strong client-facing and project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading EPMS projects from design through to commissioning.
• Developing and reviewing EPMS architecture, control philosophies and system designs.
• Integration of EPMS with electrical equipment including switchgear, ATS, generators, UPS and power meters.
• SCADA / HMI development and EPMS graphics.
• Integration using protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, OPC UA and IEC 61850.
• FAT, SAT, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Working closely with electrical, controls, commissioning and client teams.
• Managing project documentation, technical specifications and deliverables.
• Supporting projects through the full engineering lifecycle.
