Job summary

RMC is seeking an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our Navy customer in Indian Head, MD. The role leads resident and multi-agency teams in collection, disassembly, analysis, and documentation of Captured Exploitable Material (CEM).

The successful candidate will prepare reports, SOPs, and DOE materials, guiding JSEOD and IC personnel while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance for ordnance exploitation and countermeasures development.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI eligibility required to start.
• Ability to lift items over 50 pounds and perform rigorous work.
• Extended periods of sitting/standing at desks/workbenches for lab tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inform and monitor JSEOD operations and multi-agency logistics.
• Manage compliance with JSEOD and IC/FMP objectives for ordnance exploitation.
• Collect and position foreign ordnance for recovery and exploitation.
• Prepare comprehensive ordnance exploitation reports and SOPs.
• Provide guidance on safe handling, storage, and disposition of captured ordnance.
