Job summary

RMC - Resource Management Concepts Inc. in Indian Head, MD, is seeking an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Navy project in Indian Head. The role focuses on supporting the AEODPS database and improving data access for EOD technicians.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years as an EOD Technician, completed Naval EOD training, and holds an active DoD SECRET clearance. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. On-site work required.

Qualifications

• Six (6)+ years of experience as an EOD Technician.
• Graduate of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal at Eglin AFB.
• An active DoD SECRET clearance is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Review, complete, and publish incomplete Unapproved R0 Subjects in AEODPS.
• Develop and revise EOD information sets described as 60-Series Subjects, Publications, and Procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and operational relevance of AEODPS entries and reports.
• Devise detailed step-by-step procedures for EOD technicians to render safe/destroy munition items.
• Develop tests and write test plans; prepare manuals; coordinate publication changes from validation.
• Coordinate with Technical Writers and EOD SMEs; conduct independent research across databases.
• Communicate findings with stakeholders and support data-driven improvements.
