Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Waste Handler at a Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility. You will perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, operate heavy equipment, follow procedures, and maintain logs to support material disposal objectives.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of hazardous material handling experience. A valid driver's license and ability to work in varying conditions are essential. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum two years hazardous material processing/handling.
• Minimum one year heavy equipment operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned area while maintaining operation efficiencies.
• Master all department components and work in any area.
• Lead and coordinate team member activities to achieve goals.
• Interface with Lead Material Handlers to achieve goals.
• Manage site waste generated in work area.
• Create maintenance work orders for equipment upkeep.
• Resolve remedial work orders and environmental concerns.
• Respond to spills as required.
• Provide manpower for box storage areas for housekeeping and safety items.
• Maintain department housekeeping standards and tools/equipment.
