Children’s Service Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA seeks a Lead Environmental Services Technician to oversee daily housekeeping, floor care and environmental cleaning across multiple areas. You will guide the environmental services team, inspect work, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and professionally while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, compliance with safety standards, and collaboration with other facilities staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• One year of housekeeping/janitorial/environmental services experience preferred.
• Five years of leadership and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure areas are clean, organized and safe.
• Inspect completed work and provide direction and support to the environmental services team.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties including floor care and environmental cleaning in offices, treatment areas, residential units and common areas.
• Ensure daily responsibilities are completed efficiently and professionally.

The Lead Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment throughout Children’s Service Center facilities. This position will work alongside the environmental services team, provide direction and support, inspect completed work, and help ensure daily responsibilities are completed efficiently and professionally.
