Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Riverdale, GA is seeking a Lead EVS Technician for the night shift at Southern Regional Medical Center. This role manages housekeeping, laundry and linen tasks and leads a team of 25+ staff to ensure clean, safe environments for patients and employees.

Hours: 11pm to 730am

Location: Southern Regional Medical Center - Riverdale, GA

The Lead EVS Technician performs a variety of housekeeping, laundry and linen task, requiring strong supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Effectively supervise a staff of 25 or more employees.
• Provide leadership, direction and equity for and in dealing with all employees.
• Creates an effective and cohesive working relationship with department employees, Department Heads, all hospital staff, and the public.
• Ensures regulatory compliance for sanitation, for patients, guests, and employees.
• Ensures that public areas are appropriately sanitized, to project a strong, positive image.
• Generates pertinent policy & procedure to ensure compliance to infection control and sanitation standards.
• Coordinates rental linen and uniform efforts.
• Provides multi-disciplinary support services.
• Participates in employee awareness and education.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• A minimum of 1-year Housekeeping experience in hospital setting.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission requirements, preferred.
• Familiarity with chemical sanitizers and general housekeeping functions.
